Online Giving from Our Sunday Visitor Release 3.9

New function enables use with all mobile device types

HUNTINGTON, IN - Our Sunday Visitor Offertory Solutions announces updates to our Online Giving system to improve user experience and performance.

Release 3.9 of Online Giving from Our Sunday Visitor incorporates an updated look for donor and administrative screens in the system with improved performance to render pages to the user device. Users are now able to create new gifts, update or change gifts, and manage the system from hand-held and tablet devices in addition to their laptop or desktop personal computer.

In an earlier update incorporated into this release, Our Sunday Visitor introduced functions to give customers more choice to enable or disable certain features in the system, to improve the password reset process and significant enhancements to support management tools and reports.

The updates meet the demand from parishes according to Eileen Pecoraro, Product Lead for Electronic Products at Our Sunday Visitor: “we are releasing this new function to respond to the changing needs in parishes across the country. Parishioners are responding to the opportunity to use mobile devices for contributing to the church.”

"We experienced tremendous, immediate response when we asked parishioners to use their phones," says Monica Lewis, Annual Catholic Appeal Director for the Archdiocese of Seattle.

Pecoraro says it was also important to update the look and feel of the system. Pat Krause, Project Coordinator from the Diocese of Bridgeport, agrees. "I really like the setup. The screen is beautiful compared to the older version."

Release 3.9 of Online Giving from Our Sunday Visitor supports the recently released Internet Explorer version 11. For access from mobile devices, users of Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems with Internet Explorer should update to Internet Explorer version 11.
