• I recently heard that Our Sunday Visitor newspaper is going away, what exactly does this mean?
No. The publication Our Sunday Visitor is not going away, it is changing to a monthly magazine format. The last issue of the newspaper will be September 29, 2024, and the premiere edition of the new Our Sunday Visitor monthly magazine format will be the October 2024 issue.
• Will there be anything else different about the Our Sunday Visitor publication besides the new monthly format?
The monthly magazine will be longer than the newspaper issues and will include many of the same topics and most popular editorial areas of interest but in a beautiful, premium, visually engaging format. This change in format has been informed by extensive research to better understand the role content resources play in helping the Catholic faithful practice their faith and engage with their parish.
• Our parishioners who read Our Sunday Visitor newspaper like the news coverage; how can we keep providing that for them too?

• We received communication about my Our Sunday Visitor subscription changing, but our account still says that we have a newspaper subscription.
Newspaper bulk subscribers will continue to receive their Our Sunday Visitor newspaper copies until the last newspaper issue, which will be the September 29, 2024, edition. Your bulk subscription will automatically transition to a magazine subscription beginning October 2024 and will include the same quantity of copies you currently receive of the newspaper. For example, if you receive 20 copies of the newspaper each week you will receive 20 copies of the monthly magazine (12 issues annually).
• If we are a current newspaper bulk subscriber, do we need to resubscribe to receive bulk copies of Our Sunday Visitor in the new magazine format?
No. Your current bulk subscription will automatically transition to a bulk magazine subscription October 2024. The month your current bulk subscription for the current newspaper expires will be the same month your bulk subscription for the magazine expires.
• What if our current newspaper bulk subscription expires before the first issue of the new magazines are mailed?
Respond to the bulk subscription renewal notice you receive in the mail or call customer service at 888-430-7512 to renew your subscription. Ensure your community doesn’t miss out on bulk copies of the premiere issue of Our Sunday Visitor magazine!
• What will an Our Sunday Visitor magazine subscription include?
Beginning October 2024 your subscription will include 12 magazine issues annually, along with more special section guides like College, Vocations, and Christmas, among others, and continue at your same yearly bulk subscription renewal rate with the same quantity of copies you currently receive. Your bulk subscription to the newspaper will continue through the end of September.
• When will we begin to receive the new Our Sunday Visitor magazine?
If you are a current Our Sunday Visitor newspaper bulk subscriber, your organization will receive your last issues of the newspaper, the September 29 edition, and the first issues of the magazine, October 2024, together in one mailing.
New bulk subscribers of the magazine will receive their first bulk order of issues at the end of September 2024.
• Will there be any newspapers printed after September 2024?
No. The last newspaper printed will be the September 29, 2024 issue.

• What if we have already canceled our Our Sunday Visitor auto-renewal?
Your current bulk subscription will end on the last day of your current order. We will not auto renew your bulk subscription.
